About the club
Located in Castleside, in the Castleside Scout Hut the club was formed on the 21st of October 1999. There was a good group of new students and a large turn out of support from the other clubs in the Teuk Soo group including instructors, Master Tom Walton 6th Dan, Chief Instructor of the Teuk Soo Association lead the class with an introduction to Taekwondo, followed by demonstrations and a regular class lesson.

New students are always welcomed, plus other styles and associations. This is ideal for any person wishing to cross train. Club picture December 1999

December 1999 Grade
The first students from Castleside club graded in December at Blackfyne community centre ( Consett Taekwondo Club ), both passed with one student double grading!
Dan Grade March 2000
The Dan Grade was held at The Dome Doncaster.
Liam McAleer.
Dan graded. My son Liam has put a lot of time and effort in to gain his Black Belt and is already learning his next Dan grade pattern. Very well done Liam.
